Beauty Can (1990)

A kinetic sound sculpture. The aluminum wings move in the wind and activate the movement of six wooden sticks (three on each side of the sculpture). The sticks hit metal keys that have been tuned to a key and produce contemplative sound.

Media: galvanized steel, aluminum, wood.

Size: 6 ft. high, 4 ft. wide, 3 ft. deep

This sculpture was featured in the movie Twister.
