A
kinetic sound sculpture. Six wooden columns support a roof made of salvaged
marble and steel. On the ridge of the roof there are five aluminum fins that
move in the wind. The movement of the fins in turn activates several sound
instruments underneath the roof, including bells and horseshoes. There is also a
wooden bench under the roof allowing the viewer to comfortably observe and enjoy
the sculpture and the sounds.
Media:
wood, steel, marble, aluminum.
Size:
